Today I’m going to introduce an app improvement that I hope will make the app much easier to get started with and significantly reduce the learning curve.
New, simpler tagging style
I received feedback that it can be difficult, especially at the beginning, to find the correct way to tag points. I also found that even though smart gesture-based tagging is fast and unobtrusive, a context menu is a better option for beginners when tagging points—similar to backhand/forehand/net tagging. For new users, the default behavior is now a context menu. However, if you’re already using the app, it will keep your previous gesture-based setup. You can change this at any time in the app menu under: taggingStyle -> contextMenu.
