Howdy! January is the month of the beginning of the new Tennis season. We are just after the United Cup, which was not so lucky for Iga and Hubi (Grats for the Germans!). The next big event is the Australian Open, I can’t wait for it!
Scoreboard screen improvements
The new year also brings new features to our apps. The first, and I think the biggest improvement for the watch app is that I added the heart zone indicator. Now, you will know how hard you work on the court and what is your reserve. This indicator is placed on the bottom of the screen, in the match and the warmup phase screens.
The change is that you can see the last 7 points just above the heart zones indicator. Now you can see if the momentum is on your side or the opponents. For example, in the case when I see the momentum is on the opponent’s side, I try to make my game a little bit less risky but play solid, and patient tennis. This helps me to build more self-confidence on the court, and wait for the better opportunity to attack with better odds to success.

There are also minor design changes like changes in the fonts to better adjust it to different screen resolutions, etc. Please let me know if you like the changes and if you have other ideas to improve the app.
Dashboards adjustments
After the new year, I noticed that some of the dashboard views may need adjustments, because – in simple words, look weird. For example, in the Dashboard section, the matches container now should show data for the whole year, instead of just one month. In the matches section, you’ll see all of your matches, instead of matches just for the current year.
See you on the court!
