Clay court season is in full swing, Rafa Nadal came back to play (we’ll see for how long), how could be better? I know, I know, I could bring some new features to the app. And there is the good news – I have something for you guys =)
Court-surface-based themes
All of the watches with AMOLED display screens receive a new layout – I refreshed the fonts, added some icons, etc. I hope it will be much more clear and readable. The recent update also introduces new court-surface-based themes. Now you can choose your favorite color scheme and match it to the court you are currently on :). Sounds good?
Doubles support (dashboard)
A recent update provides support for the doubles. So far, the doubles and singles are separated in the match list the dashboard, and the match-details site, but in the future I plan to extend it with more double-specific features in the watch app, including dedicated statistics, etc. So stay tuned, work in progress 🙂
Other changes:
- Now you can enter the menu from the warmup view
- Cloud feature is no longer in
experimentalstage - Removed support for Forerunner 55 – too small screen resolution, only 8 colors, and not enough memory to run the application properly
- Increased the waiting time between taps for the touch screen from 250 to 350ms – now it should be easier to mark return winner or dirty ace
- Added possibility to change match type during the match – if you play BO3 with super tie-break as a 3 set, but you have time to play the full third set you can change too full BO3, before the last tie-breaker starts. You can also reduce from full BO3 to BO3 with super tiebreaker
