Hello Everybody!
Today I’m coming to you with a bunch of new features, fixes, and quality-of-life improvements! First of all, I’m so happy that you will be able to create your own, fancy match rules. You can decide the match length (bo1 or bo3), each set’s length, the game’s advantages, and so on. There are many, many features that are described below.
I also added new score types: dirty aces and return winners. Now we can measure our general serve/return efficiency and how many points we score just by serve (or return) or in-game.
QoL: For touchscreen-based devices, I changed the behavior of the back button. Pressing it during the match causes undo the last point. If a match is not started it behaves as previously – It closes the app.
As you can see in Dashboard, I hid the unfinished matches by default, you can show them by toggling the show unfinished matches button.
Custom match creator
With this update, you can configure your own match rules. All you need is to open custom rules from the main menu and set the options for the custom match:
– Sets – there you can specify if the match is bo1 or bo3.
– Games in set – each set length
– Last Set STB – this flag determines the decider set. If you enable this option, the third set in bo3 or the only set in bo1 will be a super tie break (10 points tie-break)
– Last Game TB – this flag enables or disables the tie-break for the last game in set
– Golden Point – enables or disables advantages in games. If you enable the golden point, the next point after 40:40 will be the final game point. This option does not affect tie-breaks – there we still need a two-point advantage.
– Games Advantage – This option determines, if the app try to get advantage in games in regular set. For example, if you play normal match, to 6 games, but the current result is 5/5, the next game is not a last game in the set. The app try to get 2-games advantage, but if it fails (6/6) then you play the last game (tie-break if the “last game TB is enabled, or normal game if it is disabled).
example of configuration:
1. Common bo3 Rules (ATP Matches):
– Sets: bo3
– Games in set: 6
– Last Set STB: “no”
– Last Game TB: “yes”
– Golden Point: “no”
– Games Advantage: “yes”
note: To change the above rules to a super tie-break decider set you have only to switch Last Set STB flag to “No” and that’s it!
Dirty Aces / Return winners
This version introduces the new types of scores: Dirty Aces and Return Winners.
To mark the point as Dirty Ace or Return Winner, on touchscreen-based devices you have to double tap the proper side of the screen. For instance, if you are the server and you double tap the left side, the point will be marked as dirty ace, if you double tap the right site, the point will be Return Winner.
Dirty ace is a point scored directly from service, your service was not accurate enough to be the Ace, but fair enough to force an error by the opponent. In other words – if the opponent is not able to return your serve you should mark it as a dirty ace.
Return winner should be marked when your opponent has done a winner directory from returning your serve.

Next steps
Now, I’ll strongly focus on polishing the dashboard, adding new features, work on the general look. There is a lot of stuff to add like analysis for a couple of matches, analysis of our general performance by surface, player, tournament, and so on so far.
