First of all, I wanted to say thank you for filling out the form that you received after the last update! There was a lot of precious feedback, and I was able to create a short roadmap and prioritise the features that I will work on, and we can see the first results!
Shot Context Tracking
The upcoming version will provide a new layer of tracking: shot context. Now, you are able to track what your last shot was – a backhand, forehand, or the net attempt. The important note here is that you mark your last shot – not the opponent’s one – we want to measure the quality of your bh / fh or net shots. So even if the very last shot of the rally was your opponent and he hit a winner, you should mark that the winner was after your fh / bh / net. To mark that you need to do an additional tap (or click if it is a button-based watch).
Dashboard Lifting
This update will also provide a small dashboard lifting. In the statistics we can see new section – Shot Context – there we can see our backhand / forehand and net efficiency. I also added the ability to change what matches are taken into calculation for dashboard and statistics sections – previously it was only bo3 finished matches, now we can choose bo3+bo3st, custom rules and all matches. It will affect qualities calculation and the other stats.
